Our History
Path of Knowledge was started in 2015 when a Women’s recycling cooperative expressed a wish for their children to have a better future than the life they had. This wish turned into PK’s scholarship program, in which all the children of the cooperative’s members were enrolled in high quality schools. Over time, Path of Knowledge’s scholarships grew to include other students in need of the same community.

Due to political factors in Nicaragua, the school that we were partnering with was closed by the government in 2023. As a result, we are in the process of moving our operations to Belize. We are taking our learnings from Nicaragua, and are planning to focus more on career and vocational enablement in Belize, in addition to providing scholarships and subsidized loans to students in need.
Our Goals
Our primary goal is to prepare individuals to be happy and successful members of society. We are pursuing this through two different sub-goals:
-
Academic support
-
Career exploration and guidance

Mission Statement
Path of Knowledge exists to help give everyone a future where they can pursue a purposeful career and be a positive force of change in their community. We plan to do this by:
-
Providing access to quality education
-
Giving academic and social support from cradle to career
-
Creating professional learning opportunities to build a career
-
Driving collaboration with families and the community
